In the digital department at SydSen, I have gotten the exceptional opportunity to work with some really great and big names in the automotive industry. This was an ad campaign project I worked on in a stunning team of creatives. The look I was going for is something in between tomorrow and nostalgia. I combined dreamscapes and retro-futuristic styles, shapes, and colours to really make the car pop and stand out.

How-to guides are such an under-valued and under-used item that any company can use. For SydSen Consult, these guides assist clients and users in using and finishing all the Consult Assessments, and the design needs to embody that. The layout and design is a simple and clean look to make each step clear and easy to understand.

For SydSen Recruit, I designed a set of ads. These ads were created to advertise new job positions, so the key aspect was to get a potential candidate to stop scrolling. To do this, I focused on a bold text box to grab attention.

While working at Union Tiles, I had the great opportunity to work on their 100-year birthday CTA and festivities. The CTA and festivities went hand in hand with a carnival theme to truly bring a show-stopping moment to the celebration.

Union Tiles has a large range of Natural Stone care products. For these products, I created a series of product stickers for each product that lets the natural stone essence shine.

This flyer was one of the projects I did while I was working at Union Tiles. The flyers are focused on a flexible natural stone product that they were launching while I was working there. The logo and the design concept were all based on roundness and curves to enhance the way the stone can curve.

Blackwood was a brand creation that was part of my university journey. Blackwood is a coffee brand designed around the story of a family heritage built on coffee and the business for many generations. The design elements were all created to represent a classic 90th century style with the custom Logo, patterns, and border details.

This project was also among the projects I worked on in university. These are a series of ads for Loctite. The concept for the ads was to create a high-stakes tongue-in-cheek moment by illustrating a dire situation and then implying that Loctite can fix it.

Sezela sugar was another project for university. The packaging was designed to resemble the swe-swe material used in traditional clothing in Zulu culture, the majority culture in KZN, where the Sezela farms sit.

This was part of an editorial project for university. The project was focused on layout and editorial illustration. The article we had to do an illustration on was about the overwhelming amount of choices we have in today’s life and the effect that has on us and our minds. The layout was based on the same shape as the illustrations I made to accompany them.
